Lamongan ( beritajatim.com ) – A total of 474 Panwaslu (Election Supervisory Committee) for Kelurahan/Villages throughout Lamongan Regency were appointed by the Lamongan Bawaslu, taking place at the Lamongan Regency Education Office GOR, Sunday (5/2/2023).
According to the Chair of the Lamongan Regency Bawaslu, Miftahul Badar, the PKD inauguration is a very crucial agenda in the stages of holding the upcoming 2024 simultaneous elections. Given that PKD is at the forefront of supervising election stages at the village/kelurahan level.
“Bawaslu Lamongan held an oath-taking and inauguration ceremony for PKDs throughout Lamongan Regency. In the stages of organizing the 2024 elections, the inauguration of 474 PKD members is a crucial agenda. We liken it, the kelurahan/village supervisor is the heart of supervision, the front guard for overseeing the 2024 Election. If only without PKD, of course the supervision of the kelurahan/village level elections would not be optimal,” he explained.
Therefore, Badar, the chairman of the Bawaslu, hopes that all PKD members who have just been appointed will not only be able to carry out their duties with love, but also with full responsibility. “All PKD ladies and gentlemen, let’s carry out this task with full responsibility and trust. We love this task, because only love makes everything light,” he said.
On the same occasion, the Regent of Lamongan Yuhronur Efendi revealed that strong collaboration and synergy were needed so that the implementation of the 2024 elections could be carried out in an honest, just, responsible and dignified manner.
His party also emphasized that the Lamongan Regency Government is ready to take a role in overseeing the 2024 General Elections or Simultaneous Elections in Lamongan Regency. With the role and participation of all parties, Regent Yuhronur is optimistic that the election in Lamongan will be successful.
“In its implementation, we will continue to monitor it so that a large and strong collaboration is created. Creating great energy for the Lamongan Bawaslu, because this supervision is a key element in the implementation of the upcoming elections,” he explained.
The number one person in Lamongan also conveyed congratulations and success to the selected PKD members. He also did not forget to express his gratitude to the Lamongan Bawaslu and Lamongan sub-district Panwaslu who have gone through a long process in making the 2024 democratic party a success.
