Harry Kane became the historic top scorer for Tottenham Hotspur, after he reached 276 goals with the London club, taking advantage of beating Manchester City, the defending champions in the English Premier League, on Sunday.
Kane scored the goal in the 15th minute to give Tottenham the lead and was given a standing ovation from the Tottenham fans at the stadium.
England captain Kane equaled the record set by the late Jimmy Greaves when he scored the winning goal against Fulham last month.
Greaves’ record has stood since 1970.
Kane scored 267 goals in 416 games for the club in all competitions, while Greaves’ goals came in 379 games.
Today Kane reached his 200th Premier League goal.
