A few days before the start of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the start of the fifth MCU phase Seth Rogen in an interview with Total Film talked about the supposed target group of the popular Marvel Universe. And it looks like the actor isn’t a huge fan of the films. The 40-year-old has the impression that this is changing MCU rather on Kinder directs. Nevertheless, he has praise for the successes of Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and the filmmakers involved.
In an interview with Total Film it says: “I think Kevin Feige is a brilliant guy – and I think a lot of the filmmakers he’s hired on these films are fantastic people too. But as someone with no kids… it’s kind of kid-centric, you know “There are times I forget. But I watch one of these things — as an adult with no kids — and I’m like, ‘Oh, this just isn’t for me.'” told Seth Rogen. However, he doesn’t think this orientation of the MCU is really bad.
The Boys benefits from the MCU hype
Seth Rogen is certain that the seasons of The Boys without Marvel either wouldn’t exist at all – or at least not that many would care. Why is this important to Seth Rogen? He is as Executive Producer involved in the series and thus benefits from the success of the show. So The Boys offers one Alternative for superhero fans who prefer adult content.
