He will do even better in the afternoon to get the silver medal in the high jump by crossing again 2m08, to equal his best performance of the season.
Still in Elite, it was first in the 60m that Martin Murillo reached the final and beat his personal best in 7s28, then in the 200m that he went for the silver medal with a time of 23s14.
Finally, Montauban Athlétisme was also present on the throws with Georges Pakeso who becomes the new champion of Occitania in the shot put (6kg) with a throw of 12m95.
We will find these athletes next weekend in Lyon for the Elite regional championships of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes to try to improve these performances for the next French championships.
All these results are more than positive and very encouraging for the summer season which is approaching with the Coupe de France for clubs on May 7 and 21, where all the athletes of Montauban will unite to defend the colors of MA.
