Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been pushed back a few weeks and will now be available on April 28th for Xbox.
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment announced via Twitter that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will not be released on March 16, 2023, but only a few weeks later, am 28. April 2023. A shift that is certainly easy to cope with. Respawn Entertainment will use the majority of the time to fix existing bugs and give the game the finishing touches.
The statement reads, verbatim:
For the past three years, the Jedi team here at Respawn have poured their collective heart and soul into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we are proud to say that the content of the next chapter in the Cal Kestis story is complete . We are now fully focused on the final phase: bug fixes to improve performance, stability, polish and most importantly the gameplay experience.
A direct response to community feedback, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features broad objectives to explore, advanced combat and traversals, and of course, continuing the story of Cal and BD. Developing this game has truly made us a better team, and we’ve strived on every level to make this the Star Wars sequel that our fans of Respawn and Lucasfilm Games have come to expect.
To help the team meet respawn quality standards, give the team the time they need, and get the polish our fans deserve, we’ve extended our release schedule by six weeks – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now be released worldwide on April 28th.
Thank you to EA and Respawn for giving us the time to provide the best experience for our players and to all of you for your understanding.
May the force be with you.
Stig, and the Star Wars Jedi Team
