The Mandalorian, Disney + launches the countdown to the third season with a new featurette [VIDEO]

The Mandalorian is preparing to return to the highly anticipated third seasonand exactly one month after its streaming debut, Disney+ has decided to tease fans by revealing a suggestive key art and an exciting new featurette in Italian.

In the latter Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni guide us through thelegacy left by the series which marked the franchise’s triumphant debut Star Wars on the small screen. Established itself as one of the most iconic shows of the last years, The Mandalorian and its protagonists have already entered the popular imagination by force, involving and conquering the hearts of spectators from all over the world.

The synopsis of the third season reads: The journeys of the Mandalorian in the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to rid the galaxy of its dark past. The Mandalorian will meet old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

In the new episodes of the series we will see the return of Peter Pascal as Din Djarin known simply as the Mandalorian. We will also see the creepy Moff Gideon played by Giancarlo Esposito and Greef Karga, once again played by the eternal Carl Weathers. Katee Sackhoff will reprise the role of Bo-Katan Kryze after debuting in the second season of the series. Among other confirmed roles there will be Amy Sedaris in the role of Peli Motto, Emily Swallow in that of Armaiola e Omid Abtahi in that of Doctor Pershing. It has also been confirmed that she will join the cast of Christopher Lloydalso making his debut in the universe of Star Wars in the role of a still unknown character.

Jon Favreau he is again showrunner and head writer of the series. He is also credited as an executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck. Among the directors who directed the eight episodes of the third season are Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey e Bryce Dallas Howard.

The awaited third season of The Mandalorian will be available to stream on Disney+ starting in 1st March 2023.
