Northern areas of Burgos, Palencia and León, under risk warning due to strong winds on New Year’s Eve
The Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet) maintains active for this Saturday, December 31, New Year’s Eve, risk warnings for strong winds in the north of the province of Burgos and in areas of the Cantabrian mountain range, to which are also added the mountains of León and Palencia.

The Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet) maintains active for this Saturday, December 31, New Year’s Eve, risk warnings for strong winds in the north of the province of Burgos and in areas of the Cantabrian mountain range, to which are also added the mountains of León and Palencia.
According to the information on the Aemet website, the warnings have already been activated this Friday at 5:00 p.m. for the north of Aemet and will remain in place until 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, with the forecast of winds of up to 70 kilometers per hour in the north of Burgos and up to 80 in the Cantabrian mountain range.
In addition, there are notices for this Saturday, starting at 10:00 a.m., in the Cantabrian mountain range in León and Palencia.
