Ruža Tomiča Fontana takes over the leadership of Coca-Cola HBC in the Baltics and Poland :: Dienas Bizness

Ruža Tomić Fontana will take over the leadership of Coca-Cola HBC in the Baltic States and Poland on February 1 of this year.

The new general director has replaced Jākas Mikel, who after four and a half years in this position, will continue his work as Coca-Cola HBC Group’s New Business Manager in the segment of premium spirits, beer and snacks. RT Fontana joined the Coca-Cola HBC team over 20 years ago and has since held a number of key positions within the company.

For the past five and a half years, RT Fontana has managed the Adriatic business unit, which unites the Croatian, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Slovenian market. Under the leadership of the CEO, a 24/7 portfolio strategy was implemented in these markets, which, with an emphasis on organized sales and sales results in the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Industry) segment, has been successful in increasing both revenue and market shares. The expert’s determination and openness to innovation has resulted in recognized experience execution solutions – by transforming the internal organization and collaborating with partners, an effective one-team culture has been created.

Ruža Tomiča Fontana has obtained a master’s degree in finance from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb, as well as graduated from the AMP (Advanced Management Program) program at one of the largest business management schools in the world – INSEAD.
