PESHAWAR, KOMPAS.com – Several suspects have been arrested in connection with Monday’s (30/1/2023) suicide bombing at a mosque in the northern Pakistani city of Peshawar.
The bomb killed more than 100 people, according to local authorities.
More arrests will be made after a major police investigation into the attack which injured 217 others, said Peshawar Police Chief Mohammad Aijaz Khan.

As reported by CNNauthorities are also investigating how the attacker entered the mosque, Khan added.
The family living in the police compound where the mosque is located is being questioned.

Police cannot rule out that the attacker may have been assisted by an insider.
