Chelsea strike the last blow on a record winter transfer market. The English club have bought Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for 121 million euros, born in 2001 ex River Plate. It’s about the ninth reinforcement for coach Potter, who replaced Tuchel this season. THE NOTE OF BENFICA – In a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM) at 12:13 this Wednesday 1 February, Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD announced that it has reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of all rights to the player Enzo Fernandez , for a sum of 121 million euros.
Benfica also explained that Chelsea will have the right to withhold the 3.78% solidarity mechanism for later distribution to the clubs that attended the player’s training.
In addition, Benfica will have to incur intermediary services fees equal to 6.56% of the sales value deducted from the solidarity fee and will also have to deliver to River Plate the amount corresponding to 25% of the transfer value deducted from the solidarity fees and brokerage services.
