On Friday morning, Nicola Bulley (45) was reported missing from the village of St. Michael’s on Wyre in England.
The toddler’s mother’s sudden disappearance has attracted enormous attention in the British media.
Bulley’s mobile was according to Sky News found on a bench close to where she was last seen at 09.15 on Friday.
The bench stands close to the path that runs along the River Wyre.
The mobile was connected to an ongoing video conference. Bulley works as a mortgage adviser.
The police are warning
Bulley was fond of walking along the river, where it is often slippery and foggy.
The riverbanks must also be very steep, the police state in one press release.
– The river and the riverbanks are extremely dangerous, and pose a great danger to the public, they write.
On Tuesday evening, it became known that the police have come into contact with a person who probably witnessed the disappearance, according to Sky News.
The person, who is described as a man in his 70s, is said to have been in the area when Bulley disappeared.

Two months before she disappeared, she posted a post on Facebook that is now shared frequently on social media.
In the post, she said that she and her dog Willow had gone for a walk, and that it was cold and foggy.
– A very foggy, cold ride this morning. This is not a day to forget the gloves! A little scary too. At least got me started and Willow had a blast.

Bulley had dropped her daughters off at school before she went for a walk.
The family hopes that Bully will be found and come home.
– All we can say is that we need to find her. She has two little girls who need their mum at home, says Ansell.
Called the police
He says that it was his school that called him in connection with someone having found the dog Willow.
Willow was found walking loose along the river.
Shortly afterwards, the same person found Nicola Bulley’s phone, as well as Willow’s dog chain, on the bench.
– Then I called the police, he says.
The police have launched an investigation, and are also searching with lights and lanterns for Nicola Bulley.
They have been doing that since Friday morning.
– A significant, resource-intensive search in the area has been ongoing since then. Drones, search dogs and other resources have been put to use, the police in Lancashire write in the press release.
Open mind
The police are in close contact with Nicola Bulley’s family.
– We also support Nicola’s family, and are in close contact with them. We have an open mind as to where Nicola might be. A team consisting of investigators is also investigating the circumstances surrounding the disappearance, it says.
