World’s Tallest Building Burj Khalifa Has No Septic Tank, Here’s The Reason

Jakarta

Tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa, is known to have no sewage system or septic tank. This skyscraper rises 830 meters into the sky.

Burj Khalifa is estimated to generate 15 tons of waste per day. However, there is no septic tank. So what’s the reason?

Launching from the Daily Star, Wednesday (1/2/2023), during the construction period Burj Khalifa, Dubai was hit by a credit crunch in 2008.

The developer decided that building a sewer system (septic tank) was wasteful and unnecessary. Because the sewer at that time was in a damaged condition.

Therefore, the developer believes they can transport waste every day rather than repairing a damaged canal system.

Since it’s not connected to the city’s sewage system, the organizers employ a creative but disgusting way to dispose of fecal waste.

Every day batches of fecal trucks move towards Burj Khalifa and pick up dirt. The feces are then hauled and dumped outside the city.

For information, the construction of this building cost US $ 1.5 billion, and became an icon for Dubai.
