About Xiaomi we already know that it is one of the largest mobile phone manufacturers in the world, but the Asian giant is now aiming to enter the automotive industry. The information is not necessarily new, Xiaomi’s management has been announcing its plans in this direction since 2019. At that time, Xiaomi announced that it wanted to become a car manufacturer specializing in electric cars.
Almost two years ago, Xiaomi bought the company Deepmotion Tech and a factory for the assembly of electric cars, taking the first serious steps in this direction. Then their first prototypewith electric propulsion, could be caught in tests last summer.
Xiaomi’s plans have materialized in the meantime, recently the news appeared that the first car model of the Chinese giant would reach the market in 2024, according to Carscoops. It’s about the Xiaomi MS11, a model that can already be admired in a few photos that more or less accidentally got into the public space. It appears to be some images taken from a commercial and eventually published on a popular social network in China.
Attractive design and autonomous driving technology
However, the Chinese are proving to be extremely stingy when it comes to providing technical information regarding the upcoming MS11 model. Until now, we only know that it will be equipped with an electric engine.
From what can be seen in the photos, the Xiaomi MS11 is a four-door model with a glass roof and a coupe silhouette. From an aesthetic point of view, we could say that the MS11 does not look bad at all, on the contrary.
There are also already some rumors circulating about the upcoming Xiaomi MS11, which is said to use a battery from Chinese manufacturer CATL. In addition, Xiaomi recently announced that its first vehicle will have technology for autonomously driven. Incidentally, the presence of a LIDAR system on the roof of the car can also be seen in these photos.
