Priestewitzer cheated of her savings via Messenger
The woman received a cell phone message on behalf of her daughter, asking for money. She then transferred almost 2,000 euros.

Priestewitz. Unknown people cheated a woman (53) out of almost 2,000 euros on Monday morning. The perpetrators wrote a message to the 53-year-old and pretended to be their daughter. They claimed that her cell phone was defective and that she therefore had a new phone with a new number. Since online banking would not be possible with this, they asked for an invoice to be paid by bank transfer. The woman complied and transferred around 1,900 euros to an account. (SZ)
One injured and 19,000 euros in damage in an accident
Nuisance. A Mercedes E 200 (driver 70) and a Ford Focus (driver 54) collided at the intersection of Goethe-/Pausitzer Straße on Monday afternoon. The 70-year-old was on Goethestrasse towards Alexander-Puschkin-Platz. The 54-year-old came on Pausitzer Strasse from the direction of the main road. At the traffic light crossing of the two streets, the two cars collided, with the Mercedes driver being slightly injured. There was property damage of around 19,000 euros. (SZ)

Meissen. Meissen police officers are investigating a man (26) for violating the Narcotics Act. Officers stopped a BMW 5 Series on Talstrasse for a traffic stop early Monday morning. A rapid drug test on the driver reacted positively for cannabis. The 26-year-old Pole also had some cannabis with him. The police officers prepared the corresponding advertisements. (SZ)
Collided with bus
Nuisance. On Monday afternoon, the driver (62) of an Alfa Romeo collided with a bus (driver 37) on Lommatzscher Straße. The man wanted to drive out of an exit onto Lommatzscher Straße. He collided with the bus, which came from the left and drove in the direction of Rostocker Straße. Nobody got hurt. There was property damage of around 3,500 euros. (SZ)
Pumps and diesel stolen from construction site
Zeithain. A construction site on Bahnhofstrasse was targeted by burglars last weekend. The perpetrators levered open a tool container and stole two pumps. They also stole several hundred liters of diesel fuel from a truck tank and a compressor and tried to break open a second container. The value of the loot is around 2,400 euros, the property damage around 200 euros. (SZ)
