Abu Dhabi: UAE to use video call service to speed up visa procedures This was explained by the UAE General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs. Visa procedures can be completed by contacting the immigration offices directly through video call. The service will facilitate direct communication with officials.

The said service will facilitate to know the reason for the delay and to complete the procedures promptly by submitting the necessary documents. The video call service will be available through GDRFA’s website. GDRFA chief Lt. Gen. Muhammad Ahmad Al Mardi explained about this. UAE advises to contact the toll free number 8005111 for visa related enquiries. The video call service has been introduced to complete the process of visa applications applied through the official channel.

Video call facility can also be used for information related to Emigration Card, Residence Visa, Visitor Visa and Golden Visa. The video call facility can also be used for procedures related to humanitarian consideration transactions, indigenous matters and property investor’s visas. UAE aims to provide round the clock visa application services. At present the working hours of GDRFA are from 7.30 am to 6 pm.
