Young, very business minded! An 11-year-old girl in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, China, proposed to her father to set up a stall during the local lantern festival during the Spring Festival. Starting from January 17, she can earn 8,900 yuan a day, and even 1,500 yuan when the business is good. More than RMB, less than half a month, a net profit of more than 10,000 RMB (about 44,000 NT dollars).
The girl’s father, Li Nan, revealed to the Xiaoxiang Morning News that because he lives opposite the main gate of the Zigong Lantern World, it will be very lively during the Spring Festival. When he was shopping, he saw a lot of light-emitting toys and casually said to his daughter: “Put them here. The stall business will definitely be very good.” I thought it was just a joke, but my daughter seriously considered setting up a stall during the Chinese New Year. And he also agreed to help arrange the purchase and assembly from other places. At the beginning, he only bought goods of about 4 to 5,000 yuan. The items were like glowing rabbit ears, small lanterns, and small flower lanterns.
Li Nan pointed out that at the beginning, the business was mediocre and only made 1,200 yuan a day, but her daughter was very excited, “As long as it is sold, she is very happy, and she will share with her relatives and friends how much money she sold that day” until New Year’s Eve On that day, more tourists came to see the Lantern Festival, and the business gradually improved. After that, the daily income can exceed 1,000 yuan, and at the best time, it can earn more than 2,000 yuan.
Every morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 am, Li Nan will help set up the stall, and then leave it to his daughter alone. “She is a very outgoing child, and she can communicate with strangers relatively smoothly. The goods in the next few days are very easy to sell.” I may even be busy until after 11 o’clock in the middle of the night before going home, depending on the number of guests. On the 13th day of setting up the stall, the total profit has exceeded 10,000 RMB, but because the Spring Festival is coming to an end, there are fewer customers, and they expect to set up the stall until the Lantern Festival.
Li Nan said that his daughter has always been sensible, and he was very pleased to see her growing up during this period, but he couldn’t help but feel distressed when he saw the frostbite on his hands. As for the money earned, the daughter plans to buy gifts for her mother, and the rest will be saved for future college use.
