Beware… New speeds on the Suez and Ismailia desert roads

The Official Gazette published the decision of the Minister of Interior regarding the amendments to the speeds prescribed on the Cairo-Suez Desert Road and the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road.

In the first article, it was decided to replace the speeds prescribed for the Cairo-Suez Desert Road and the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road contained in Article (49) of the executive regulations of the Traffic Law.

The new speeds are as follows:

Road (Cairo / Ismailia Desert)

– The main road from kilometer 33 to kilometer 94: 100 km/h for passenger vehicles and two-wheeled motorized bicycles

– 120 km / h for other types of vehicles.

– Service road wherever it is: 60 km/h for all types of transport vehicles.

Road (Cairo / Suez Desert)

– The main road, starting from kilometer 19 below the ring road until kilometer 109: 100 km/h for road transport vehicles and two-wheeled motorized bicycles.

– 120 km / h for other types of vehicles.

– Service road wherever it is: 60 km/h for all types of transport vehicles.
