The dismantling was immense: 37 shops closed, 300 employees without a job. When it became known at the beginning of the year that the Swiss organic pioneer Reformhaus Müller was going bankrupt, it caused dismay across the country. One of the main reasons was that major Swiss distributors were able to offer lower prices and thus undermined the almost hundred-year-old organic pioneer.
