Canterbury Archbishop Justin Wwelby, the head of the Anglican Communion accompanying the Pope in South Sudan, and Iain Greenshields, the moderator of the Church in Scotland, are asking for prayers.
These church leaders are asking you to join them in prayer for the suffering and starving people of conflict-torn South Sudan.
In South Sudan, this pastoral visit will be an unprecedented ecumenical pilgrimage where these prelates will join the Pope. Pope Francis will visit Sudan from February 3-5.
