PT Taspen (Persero) cooperates with Japanese company Mitsubishi Estate to build the tallest building in Jakarta. This building will be built over 7 years with a total investment of IDR 10.6 trillion. So where did the funds come from?
Main Director of Taspen ANS Kosasih revealed that the overall investment was disbursed by Mitsubishi. Kosasih confirmed that no funds managed by Taspen or civil servants’ money were used in the construction of this building.
“This doesn’t use Taspen’s money at all with funds from Japan. Taspen doesn’t spend money, but gets money from royalties for this collaboration. Taspen only provides 3.3 hectares of land,” he said at the Oasis Central groundbreaking event, Tuesday (31/1 /2023).
He added that the development of the Sudirman land belonging to the Taspen Group will carry the one-stop service building concept and become a super block called Oasis Central Sudirman through the Build Operate Transfer scheme which will be managed by the Mitsubishi Estate Co consortium. for 50 years.
Kosasih added, the land will be developed Taspen The Group together with Mitsubishi Estate Co. and PT Benhil Property is located on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman lot 2, in the middle of Jakarta.
The location of the land is very strategic, located in the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area which is very close to several stations of mass transportation modes such as the MRT, LRT, Airport Sky Train, KRL, and Busway and is very close to the Business Center, Trade Center and Government Center. .
For your information, the Gama Tower currently holds the tallest existing building in Jakarta (285.5 meters). The total floors of this building are 64 floors which are used as hotels and offices in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the building that is currently under construction is the Indonesia 1 building on Jalan MH Thamrin. This building is said to have a height of 300 meters consisting of 2 towers. Each tower has 59 floors.
