Europe’s stock markets got off to a mixed start to an eventful week on Monday. Before the groundbreaking interest rate decisions expected in New York, Frankfurt and London as well as the numbers from several US tech giants, the leading eurozone index EuroStoxx 50 closed 0.46 percent down at 4158.63 points. France’s Cac 40 fell 0.21 percent to 7082.01 points, while Britain’s FTSE 100 gained 0.25 percent to 7784.87 points.
