WhatsApp continues Adding new features To its platform allowing users to communicate with each other in a more convenient and secure way, some recent additions to the app include – community, forward media with captions, message yourself and more.
These features are designed to make WhatsApp a secure and easy-to-use platform for everyone.
WhatsApp also offers a wide range of additional features that provide users with better user interface, privacy, and more.
However, some of these features are in beta and not yet rolled out to users, including PIP (Picture-in-Picture) mode, configure image quality before sharing, report status, and more.
All of these features make WhatsApp one of the most comprehensive messaging platforms available today.
The Meta-owned giant is working on a new feature that will allow WhatsApp users to interact within the ad block.
According to a report Issued by WABetaInfothe company plans to integrate the feature within the ad block.
The feature will be available to all WhatsApp users after installing the latest update (v23.2.0.75) of WhatsApp for iOS from the App Store and TestFlight for beta testers.
The report added that the company is working on an in-app banner that alerts users during an update that brings message feedback within the ad group.
WhatsApp is working on voice feedback status updates
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also testing the ability to share voice notes via status updates.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a new update (v23.2.0.70) through the TestFlight beta program.
The update will add the ability to select beta testers and has been rolled out to some beta testers.
WhatsApp users who are unable to share voice notes via status will have to wait for a future update of the app.
The report further states that WhatsApp Beta iOS users running the latest version can share voice notes as status updates.
The feature is placed inside the text status section.
Just like photos and videos, voice notes shared via status expire automatically after 24 hours but you can delete them for everyone at any time.
The report also adds that users will have to update their WhatsApp app to listen to voice notes posted as status.
