The onshore wind law comes into force on February 1, with which the traffic light coalition sets legally binding area targets for onshore wind power. By 2027, 1.4 percent of the area in Germany should be available for wind turbines. By 2032 it will be two percent. In most countries, these goals are far from being achieved. Schleswig-Holstein leads with around two percent, Baden-Württemberg brings up the rear with only 0.2 percent.
