Jeddah: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia has stated that the service of providing free four-day transit visit visa to those who buy tickets on Saudi Airlines and Flynas flights has started. The project started from Monday (January 30). This service has been started with the cooperation of various departments and national airlines. This project aims to facilitate foreigners to come to Saudi Arabia for any purpose and facilitate entry visa procedures. The ministry explained that those who come on this short-term visa can perform Umrah, visit Masjid Dunna Bawi in Madinah, participate in various entertainment programs in the country and do tourism.
Those who book tickets through the online systems of Saudi Airlines and Flynas can also apply for this visa. Go to the Ministry of External Affairs visa portal to submit the application by filling up the required information online. The visa will be issued immediately and the applicant will receive it via email. It is expected that this digital transit visa service will help in achieving the goals of ‘Vision 2030’.
