Al-Hilal Saudi Club announced, on Monday, the absence of captain Salman Al-Faraj from the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Hilal said in a statement posted on its official account on the social networking site “Twitter”: It was not possible for Salman Al-Faraj to leave with the team’s mission, due to his incomplete readiness to play matches.
The Crescent delegation will leave on Monday evening to Morocco in preparation for participating in the Club World Cup.
Al-Hilal begins its career in the Club World Cup by meeting Moroccan Wydad, next Saturday.
