– This is amazing. We had a good year last year and it was good to end it with a win here in Doha. We have played against so many good teams here. I am very proud and very tired, says Anders Mol to the organiser.
The six-foot-tall 25-year-old was unstoppable towards the end of the second set, blocking almost every ball coming from the Polish opponents.
– The differences between the teams in this tournament is that I have Anders Mol by my side. He carried the team in this final and had some incredible blocks. I am very happy and proud of the team, sums up partner Sørum.
Poles Michal Bryl and Bartosz Losiak got off to the best start in the first set, but the Norwegian world champions rose midway through and pulled away.
