Djokovic wins the Australian Open for the tenth time and will again become the first racket of the world

Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open Grand Slam for the tenth time in his career in Melbourne. Serbian tennis player will return to the first line of the world rankings.
In the final, Djokovic defeated the fourth-ranked Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:4), 7:6 (7:5).
Tennis players spent almost three hours on the court. Djokovic made seven aces to Tsitsipas’ 15, made three double faults and converted two of five break points.
Djokovic is equal in the number of titles at the Grand Slam tournaments with the record holder – the Spaniard Rafael Nadal (22).
Last year, Djokovic, who refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19, was unable to take part in the Australian Open. Serb twice annulled an entry visa and eventually deported. Due to missing tournaments, by the end of February, Djokovic lost the first line in the world rankings to Russian Daniil Medvedev, who reached the final at the Australian Open.
In September, the new authorities of Australia decided lift a three-year ban on Djokovic’s entry into the country.
In total, the 35-year-old Djokovic has 93 victories in ATP tournaments.
Of the Russians, Karen Khachanov went furthest at the Australian Open, who lost Tsitsipas in the semi-finals.
