He did not wish Jiřina Bohdalová the whole of last year. In January, she suffered pain from a cracked vertebra, followed by breathing problems and several severe viruses. A major setback occurred in November, when she was fighting the flu for a long time. After that, as SEDMIČKA exclusively found out, the actress had a minor car accident when she crashed her car into a post and injured her back to such an extent that she had to be hospitalized afterwards.
“I moved my spine painfully. Suddenly it was as if a knife had gone through me,” Jiřina said in December, adding that although she is taking medication, the pain is not subsiding much. She was finally released into hospice care shortly before Christmas Day, and being the fighter that she is, she made a surprise appearance at the Broadway Theatre’s Christmas party. Although she was giving out smiles, it was obvious that she had breathing problems, she was constantly sitting up and needed help from those around her. After the New Year, her condition worsened sharply again.
