The organization of the South America Cup has sent an invitation to Morocco to participate in next year’s tournament in the United States because of the bravery shown by its players in the World Cup held last year in Qatar. .
The representatives of the commission agreed to send Morocco this invitation letter because of the way the country removed fat from Africa in the World Cup in reaching the semi-finals.
Next year’s COPA America tournament will be the 48th, and will be held from June to July.
Morocco will be the first African country to participate in the COPA America tournament, which will invite a country from another continent from time to time to compete as guests.
Argentina is the holder of the championship due to its success in the previous competition which was invited to Qatar and Japan.
According to reports, the competition was planned to be held in Ecuador, but the country gave an excuse that it could not sponsor the competition.
The COPA America tournament is similar to the African Cup of Nations held in Africa every 2 years.
