BIMA-The death rate from dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) has increased in Bima District. So far, seven children have died.

“In Soromandi, two children are suspected of having DHF,” said the Head of Administration for the Soromandi Health Center, Muamar Kadafi, accompanied by the Soromandi Health Center Surveillance Coordinator, Agus Haryanto, yesterday.
The two suspected DHF patients came from the villages of Punti and Kananta. Both have been referred to Bima Hospital and Bima City Hospital. “The patient from Punti is four years old, while the patient from Kananta is two years old,” he said.
Soromandi Health Center officers have targeted three villages. Namely the villages of Punti, Lewintana and Kananta. Yesterday (27/1), they together with the district government, village government, Babinsa, and Babinkamtibmas came out to appeal to the people in Sarita Hamlet, Punti Village.
