Bitcoin’s market capitalization is higher than that of two large US banks: JP Morgan and Bank of America (BofA). The Companies Market Cap platform has ranked Bitcoin seventeenth (17th) among the largest companies in the world by capitalization. In total, the market value of Bitcoin stands at $440 billion as of this writing.
Despite the fall that cryptocurrencies experienced in 2022, Bitcoin continues to be superior to other companies, including banks JP Morgan and Bank of America and others such as Meta Platforms, Mastercard, Walmart and the LVMH conglomerate.

Other major financial organizations, such as Mastercard at 23rd, and Bank of America at 34th, lag bitcoin in market capitalization. The main cryptocurrency also displaces in market value important companies that are not in the financial area, but are leaders in their respective areas, such as Walmart (20), Chevron (24) and Samsung (26).
The rise in the price of bitcoin at the beginning of the year also contributed to the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies exceeding one trillion dollars. This milestone was achieved on January 20.
