Theater Harry Potter in London, England ‘took’ victims. A worker was reportedly killed while repairing a public toilet there.
The bloody incident occurred on Friday (27/1) yesterday, at 13.00 local time. The scene of the incident was right outside the Palace Theatre, the place where the theatrical performance’Harry Potter and The Cursed Child’ are regularly performed.
The victim reportedly worked as a construction worker whose job was to repair the hydraulic system of public toilets at the site. The public toilets there use a hydraulic system.
In the morning the ‘pop up’ toilets are underground. But when evening comes, the toilet will appear to the surface. This type of toilet was first introduced 20 years ago to prevent people from peeing in the open.
When the incident occurred, the victim was carrying out routine maintenance. The work location is underground. But suddenly, the worker was squashed by the toilet which slid down.
Medics immediately rushed to the location. An ambulance helicopter was also deployed and landed in Trafalgar Square. But unfortunately, the worker’s life could not be saved.
The man was declared dead at the location. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed to the public so far.
The London Metropolitan Police also made an official statement, that the victim’s family had been notified of the deadly incident.
As a result of the deadly incident, the Palace Theater has announced that it will consider canceling the show.Harry Potter and The Cursed Child’. However, until now there has been no further announcement regarding the cancellation.
