An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 was registered in central Italy off the Adriatic coast near Cesena, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported, as quoted by NOVA.
Tremors were also felt in major cities such as Rimini and Ravenna. Trains between Bologna and Rimini and between Rimini and Ravenna have been stopped to check their consequences. The procedure in such cases is automatic. According to the civil protection service, the earthquake did not cause any damage or casualties.
