Following another postponement of Skull & Bones, now expected in the next fiscal year starting in April 2023, the situation around Ubisoft’s pirate action game is getting bleaker and more uncertain.
In recent days, Ubisoft has closed Skull & Bones pre-orders on the PlayStation Store, starting refunds to players, indicating that a clear decision on the next launch date has yet to be made at this point. To add fuel to the fire, well-known insider Tom Henderson tweeted some thoughts after contacting some testers who tried the game.
“From what I’ve heard from the testers, Skull & Bones’ latest testing doesn’t give me the feeling that they’ve made the necessary changes to make the game a success,” Henderson says, ending his speech rather abruptly: “Honestly, I’m having a hard time believe that people will pay $70 for this game.”
It is possible that the insider will further consider the issue in a new report, in any case, if this is true, his words do not entirely encourage the situation around the project developed by Ubisoft Singapore.
