Dannenberg (dpa / lni) – A seven-year-old boy was hit by a car on the sidewalk in Dannenberg (Lüchow-Dannenberg district) and critically injured. A 34-year-old pedestrian and the 40-year-old driver were slightly injured in the accident, the police said. On Friday morning, a 54-year-old driver missed a vehicle coming from the right when crossing an intersection. The car with the 40-year-old driver left the road to the right, hitting the 34-year-old pedestrian and the child, both of whom were walking on the sidewalk. The seven-year-old had to be taken to a special clinic.
