Unbeknownst to him, the bear was casually posing for photos, taking around 400 selfies in one night.
As reported by UPI, the manager of Open Spaces and Mountain Parks informed that trail cameras installed in forest areas in November last year recorded as many as 580 images in one night.
“When our ranger looked through all the wildlife images, he found that around 400 of the images captured were bear selfies.
“Almost all of the bear shots are close-up,” management explained.
Meanwhile, Colorado Parks and Wildlife shared several bear selfies on Twitter.
The national park manager uploaded the photo with the caption “feels funny, maybe it will disappear later”.
Reportedly, as many as nine trail cameras were installed around the Open Space and Mountain Park in the city of Boulder to help officials and researchers learn more about the various wildlife in the area.
