On Wednesday, a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a young man in a TER which linked Lyon to Grenoble, indicates to the Progress SNCF, confirming information from Lyon Mag.
Suspect arrested
The victim had taken the TER 17639 linking Lyon to Grenoble at Lyon Part-Dieu station. It was the 7:45 p.m. train. She was allegedly kissed and forcibly penetrated. She notified a controller who alerted the police.
The young man suspected of rape was arrested by the police at Voiron station (38). It is the police station of this municipality which is in charge of the investigation.
