The creators were not forgiven for the deceit.
The dizzying success of the series “The Magnificent Century” inspired the authors to create a sequel. Soon the world saw the “Empire of Kesem”. However, many noticed that the directors did not work on the mistakes after the “Magnificent Century” and stepped on the old rake.
The audience was disappointed with the picture and criticized the authors of the Kesem Empire. They were confused by the many historical inaccuracies with which the series is literally “stuffed”. For example, it is often mentioned here that Kesem Sultan was brought to the Ottoman Empire from the island of Kefalonia, located in Greece. But historical sources say that she was born on Tinos.
Also, for some reason, the creators introduced fictional characters into the plot. For example, I recall the daughter of the Hungarian king Farya, who married padishah Murad. But in reality, the main woman in his life was Ayse Sultan.
The creators also lied about the death of Mahfiruze, the rival of the main character. According to the series, she died during the Safiye Sultan riot. However, in reality, Mahfiruze was exiled to the Old Palace, where she lived until her death.
