Meta announced that it will restore the accounts of former US President Donald Trump on Facebook and Instagram, after a two-year suspension, according to the American news site Axios. The decision sets a new precedent for how the company deals with world leaders, and in his comment on the decision, Trump said: No president or ordinary person should be prevented from using Facebook and Instagram.
Explaining that “such a thing should not happen again, and Trump did not clarify in a post on the “Truth Social” platform whether he intended to use the two platforms or not.
