Washington is ready to ease sanctions against Moscow for the sake of serious negotiations on Ukraine and the withdrawal of Russian troops from there. This was announced today, January 26, by US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, speaking in the US Senate.
Also, according to Nuland, the United States will not be able to send the promised Abrams tanks to Kyiv by spring.
“Abrams, as you know, is a very complex tank and requires a lot of training. Even though we approved them yesterday, it will take some time to get them to the battlefield. They will not appear there by the spring offensive, ” Nuland said.
As reported EADailylast Wednesday the President of the United States Joe Biden announced that he would send 31 American Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Biden hopes that the supply of tanks by NATO countries to Kyiv will be able to spur the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Crimea and “prevent Russia’s spring offensive.”
It should be noted that, until recently, all talk of negotiations was used by the West and their Kyiv puppets only in conditions of a situation threatening the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front. After new deliveries of weapons and regrouping, Ukrainian formations violated all agreements and again tried to attack.
