A ceremony in Sýkor’s honor will take place before the start of the match. The forty-four-year-old former excellent striker worked in the extra league only in Pardubice. Including playoffs, he played 919 games with a balance of 393 goals and 280 assists. Sýkora took part in the championship titles in the 2004/05 and 2009/10 seasons, becoming the competition’s top scorer twice. He currently works in the mother club as a scout.
Sýkora will be the thirteenth player whom the Pardubice club will similarly appreciate.
