The Public Prosecution Service confirms that the suspicion has indeed been adjusted after a statement by a witness, but does not mention Vaes’ name. Lil Kleine has not been exonerated by this either. He is still suspected of assault, but no longer aggravated assault. “The suspicion of abuse remains,” reports a spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service. The investigation is still ongoing.
