VALLADOLID, 25 (EUROPA PRESS)
This Wednesday, Luna Paredes, the Miguel Delibes National Journalism Prize winner from the Valladolid Press Association, vindicated reading as necessary and asked society to dedicate more time to this task.
Paredes, who has shown his pride in sharing his name with the winners of other editions, has recognized that Delibes has been one of his favorite authors, for which he is honored to receive this award.
Luna Paredes has been awarded for her Spanish workshop ‘La lengua en televisión’, broadcast within the veteran informative program La aventura del saber on La 2 de RTVE, in the period from November 2021 to October 2022.
The jury’s minutes state that these works have been awarded for “their informative, didactic nature, defense of the proper use of Spanish and its spelling. They have also stood out for their rigor and originality of the contents, which transfers linguistic knowledge to the format television”.
This award, sponsored by Unicaja Banco and with the collaboration of the Miguel Delibes Foundation, the Courts of Castilla y León, the Valladolid Provincial Council and the Valladolid City Council, among other entities, is unique in its scope since it rewards the good use of the language in the media and is endowed with 6,000 euros.
