Motorola introduces the Moto G23, Moto G53 and G73 phones

Motorola has today announced three new phones in the budget class: Moto G23, Moto G53 and Moto G73. All the devices have been equipped with memory card slots and 3.5mm jacks. We start with the latter and most lavish model, which offers the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 930 chip, 5G, 8GB of RAM and 2565GB of storage.

The screen is 6.5 inches with 1080 x 2400 pixels, LCD technology, aspect ratio 20:9, and 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, a 16MP selfie camera, a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP super wide-angle camera are offered, which can also be used for close-ups.

The Moto G73 has received a fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a 5000mAh battery with 30W charging. The back is made of plastic and the entire construction weighs 181 grams.

We move on to the Moto G53, which instead offers a 6.5-inch LCD (720 x 1600, 120Hz), the Snapdragon 480+ chip, 5G, as well as 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Moto G53 also has a 50MP camera but the sensor size has shrunk compared to the G73. The other cameras are an 8MP front camera and a 2MP macro camera. The battery again has 5000mAh but it can only be charged over 10W this time.

The last phone, the Moto G23, takes another step down in performance. The device has a 6.5-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Helio G85 system chip is combined with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Support for 5G is missing.

The G23 has a 50MP main camera, a 5MP super wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 16MP front camera. Just like its siblings, the battery capacity is 5000mAh and now there is once again support for 30W charging.

Price and availability

The Moto G73, Moto G53 and Moto G23 will be released on March 1 in the Nordics for SEK 3,499, SEK 2,699 and SEK 2,293 respectively.
