Former Kasubnit I Subdit III Dittipidum Bareskrim Polri AKP Irfan Widyanto will face trial in the obstruction of murder investigation case Brigadier Joshua Hutabarat today. The trial will be held at the South Jakarta District Court.
Reported by SIPP PN South Jakarta, Tuesday (24/1/2023), the trial will be held in room 2. The trial for the winner of Adhi Makayasa is planned to start at 10.00 WIB.
“Tuesday, January 24 2023, at 10.00 WIB the agenda for criminal charges,” SIPP wrote.
In this case, AKP Irfan Widyanto was charged with damaging the CCTV which hindered the investigation into the murder of Yosua Hutabarat. This act was carried out by the former Head of Sub-unit I, Sub-Directorate III, Dittipidum Bareskrim Polri, along with six other people.
“The defendant deliberately and without rights or unlawfully took any action which resulted in disruption of the electronic system and/or caused the electronic system to not work as it should,” said the prosecutor while reading out the indictment at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Wednesday ( 19/10/2022).
The other six defendants in question are Ferdy Sambo, Police Commissioner Baiquni Wibowo, AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin, Commissioner Chuck Putranto, Brigadier General Hendra Kurnia, and Commissioner Agus Nurpatria Adi Purnama. They were charged in separate files.
Irfan was charged with Article 49 juncto Article 33 and Article 48 juncto Article 32 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) juncto Article 55 paragraph 1 1st Criminal Code and Article 233 Criminal Code and Article 221 paragraph 1 2nd juncto Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
