The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, came to pay his respects to the funeral home of the Indonesian Ambassador (Ambassador) in Italy, Muhammad Prakosa, located in Bantul, Central Java. In Ganjar’s eyes, Muhammad Prakosa is a senior in PDIP who is super simple.
“Very intellectual, egalitarian, super simple, and I never forget that the watch was among the people who at that time used a watch, it seemed the ugliest, because the people were really simple, the people were good at being egalitarian, so it was extraordinary,” said Ganjar when met by journalists at the funeral home, Gresik Hamlet, Sumbermulyo Village, Kapanewon Bambanglipuro, reported by detikJateng, Tuesday (24/1/2023).
Ganjar admits that he has known Prakosa for a long time. Ganjar also remembers Prakosa when he ran for the Central Java gubernatorial election.
“I’ve known him for a long time since he became Minister and at that time I was still at the party’s Education and Training Agency. So we often communicate with him, because previously PDI Perjuangan was rarely an executive, he gave a lot of advice,” he said.
Ganjar revealed that it was Prakoso who recommended him to the Ketum PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri to become Governor of Central Java. According to him, this is very historic for his political career.
“Second, it is certainly very historic in my political career. It was he who brought the recommendation from Mrs. Mega for me to become Governor (Central Java) in the first period,” continued Ganjar.
