HOUSTON, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) — Twelve people were shot and injured at a nightclub early Sunday morning in Baton Rouge, capital of the southern U.S. state of Louisiana. Three of them are in hospital in critical condition, local media reported.
Police spokesman L’Jean McKneely Jr later said all of the injured were in stable condition.
The shooting occurred at the Dior Bar and Lounge around 1:30 a.m. local time (7:30 a.m. GMT), he said. No arrests have been announced, while the motive for the shooting remains unknown at this time. End
