EHC Red Bull Munich won the top game against ERC Ingolstadt. In a close duel, the leaders of the standings finally prevailed 3:2. The Schanzer then went down one place in the table because the Adler Mannheim also won 3-0 at the Iserlohn Roosters and thus moved up to second place in the table. For Adler goalie Arno Tiefensee it was the second game of the season without conceding a goal.

The Straubing Tigers have also moved up the table, beating the Düsseldorfer EG 3-2 in overtime in front of their home crowd. With the extra point, Lower Bavaria moved up to fourth place. Behind them are the Pinguins Bremerhaven, who defeated the Augsburg Panthers 4:3 in a shootout.

On the other hand, things went downhill for the Grizzlies Wolfsburg, who lost 6:4 in Berlin. It was the fourth win in a row for the champions of the last two seasons. Thanks to this series of successes, the capital city reduced the gap to the Wild Wings, who had to admit defeat to the Frankfurt Lions, to five points. At the bottom of the table are still the Bietigheim Steelers, who got stuck in Cologne and finally lost 8:1.
