It’s not even a quarter of a year since they tested it in China the T-Flight express train, which in the future is to move in vacuum tunnels at a speed of up to 1000 km/h. At that time, a speed of 130 km/h was achieved on a short 2 km test track in Datong, Shanxi Province. Now, the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) has tested a life-size capsule in which passengers should be transported in the future. In this case, however, it was not very fast.
The capsule moved at a maximum speed of 50 km/h and traveled only 210 meters during the test, so it was primarily a proof of concept. The tests were repeated several times, each time with success. Over the next few years, the track should be extended to 60 km, the whole process will be divided into three phases. But only time will tell when it will actually start driving with passengers in heavy traffic.
