00:10 French President Emmanuel Macron does not rule out the possibility of starting deliveries of battle tanks to Ukraine. He announced this today in Paris.
“As for the tanks, I ask the minister of the armed forces to work on it. Nothing is excluded and it is indeed to be welcomed collectively,” Macron said.
At the same time, the French leader named three conditions under which such a delivery can be made: the transfer of tanks to Ukraine should not lead to an escalation of the conflict; supply must become “real and effective support” for Ukraine;
moving tanks to Ukraine should not weaken France’s own defense capabilities.
